Cost: Only $20!

What's included: An hour and a half of instruction from Fergs Kayaks with your own SUP, paddle, and buoyancy aid.

Where we meet: Inside Fergs Kayaks.

What to wear: Wear togs with merino or polyprop over the top - don't wear long pants, denim and no cotton t-shirts. Cotton does not dry well and dissipates heat quickly. The water temps are much cooler than the air temperatures. Wool or synthetics are the way to go. If you have a wetsuit (farmer jane/farmer john), that would be ideal.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Weather: This Meetup will be reliant on the weather and is subject to last-minute cancellation. If this occurs, it will be rescheduled ASAP.

No show policy: If you no show to this event, you still owe Fergs $20 - they have to book an instructor and this price is split over all the attendees.

This was kind of cool & not as difficult as I imagined. Great instructor provided by Fergs and finished off with a drink and a laugh at shed 5.

It was great! I sucked at it, but thought the instruction and time we had was really good. I would give it a go again!!
