Welcome to the biggest and busiest Meetup group in Wellytown.
We are very friendly people, from all parts of the globe, who get-together for regular activities and adventures around the Wellington region.
We also enjoy indoor activities, basically anything that gets your body M-O-V-I-N-G!
We like to wind down and socialise after an event, generally at the nearest pub or cafe.
The emphasis is on meeting other people, keeping fit and just to try out new adventures! If you're new to Wellington and don't know anyone, you are sure to have some new friends after attending one of our events.
Our members are from all over the globe including NZ, USA, UK, Ireland, France, Italy, Spain, Canada, Japan, Germany, Holland, China, Argentina, and many others. Its a great group to learn about other cultures.
About the only things you need are a decent pair of hiking shoes and a friendly and positive attitude. There is no joining fee. The organiser and hosts donate their time to run events because they love walking, hiking and meeting new people.

likes(blue) penguin spotting South Coast12-19 September will be Conservation Week. Last year one of the events was penguin spotting + free sausage sizzle at night time with DOC rangers. It was booked out so we couldn't take part....
